Samuel Staples Elementary School

The preschool program at Samuel Staples Elementary School is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year. Easton residents may apply to attend our 5-day preschool program. Your child must be three years of age by
October 15, 2026 and potty-trained.

The application deadline is January 9th, 2026. Applicants will be chosen by lottery and notified via email/letter by February 5th, 2026. If your child is not drawn in the lottery, the application will remain in our files for one year and he/she will be placed on the waitlist. If a space opens up in the program, the waitlist will be utilized and you will be notified by phone if your son/daughter has been selected.

Tuition rates are established annually by the Easton Board of Education. Tuition increases generally correspond with increases in the Easton Public School’s budget. If your child is selected, a nonrefundable deposit of $500 is
due by February 13th, 2026 to secure a seat in the program. If the deposit is not received by February 13th, the seat will be given to the next child on the waitlist.
