Dear K–5 Families:

On Friday, January 16, from 2:30–3:15 p.m., our school will enjoy a schoolwide assembly, NED’s Resiliency Ride. This engaging character education program features the cartoon character NED and teaches students how to build a positive mindset and resilience through the acronym:

Never give up

Encourage others

Do your best.

The assembly uses interactive storytelling, humor, and impressive yo-yo tricks to promote motivation, kindness, and perseverance among students.

This program is provided at no cost to the school; however, it does require us to host a Pay-It-Forward sale of program-sponsored yo-yos. A sales table will be set up in the lobby on Tuesday, January 20, during all recess periods. The sale will continue over the following days, with remaining inventory available for purchase in the Main Office on January 21, 22, and 23. Any unsold items will be packed and shipped at the end of the day on Friday, January 23.

Please open the attached Student Order Form, complete your order, and return it to your child’s classroom teacher.
