Dear SSES Families:

As we head into the upcoming three-day weekend, I invite you to consider taking a few moments to look through your homes for new or gently used children’s books appropriate for students in Kindergarten through Grade 5 that you might consider donating. Our school community has an exciting opportunity to partner with the Joel Barlow High School Red Cross Club in a meaningful book drive that will benefit children in Honduras. By sharing books that have already inspired our own children, we can help spark curiosity, imagination, and confidence in young readers thousands of miles away.
